After sunsetting Funimation and unifying 9 companies, Crunchyroll needed to redefine who they are. Anime has broadened beyond traditional boundaries and has become a significant part of pop culture. Crunchyroll needed to reflect that in a new aesthetic and design language.
Scope: new logo, custom visual mnemonic, sonic branding, original fonts, custom backgrounds and textures, original manga artwork, and development of 150+ page brand guidelines.
